Mount Pisgah Senior Camp 2014

This arm wrestling match between these two guys (both named Aaron) went on ALL WEEK. There was never a winner crowned.

Ethan and his beloved banjo, which he affectionately named "Banjolina" :)

"The Crew" trying to look cool. ;)

Rachel & Madison...Oh, and Zach, who loves to photo bomb.

Is this not the cutest thing ever?

Abigail & Lydia

noodle ball! this is a lot harder than it looks!

Abigail, fixing to display her talent in the "knock the cup off your head with a pool noodle" game. :)

I do believe my uncle is questioning the fact of whether I beat him or not in this photo... But we can all see who still has on her cup hat... ;) Just minutes before, he had proudly been victorious over various small children. After which, he proclaimed "Aw, give me somebody who can actually beat me!" Oh how the mighty are fallen....

I'm not real sure what's going on here, but the combination of Kyle's face & Bryson's megaphone is just hilarious.

My favorite match of the night... Ella & Samuel.

Abigail & Dylan

This year, the fastest Bible drillers came down to me and my uncle! Oh yeah. :) Let's just say that he lost in more than just the pool noodle game. ;)

The group picture (although several had already left). Front center is the preacher, Bro. Scotty Rayburn. We enjoyed messages all week on the topic of dating vs. courtship and preparing for marriage! Thank you, Bro. Scotty!

Anna Brooke & Emily

Brother vs. Sister checker competition :)

Julia & Lela

Maddie & Chloe

This was some kind of jungle game where they had to act out different animals. Don't ask me what these two were supposed to be!

Unless there's an animal called "Army Crawl", I'm not sure what these are either. ;)

Adorableness

I took a photo shoot of BJ a few weeks ago and he was just the cutest little cowboy EVER! Wouldn't you agree?

He peeked around the barn to look at something that caught his attention, & I caught this picture. :)

Baptist Homeschool Fellowship Tea

Rachel and Snow White... :) Earlier this month, our local homeschool group had a ladies tea at a castle in Decatur, Ms. Yes, a REAL CASTLE!!! Here are a few pictures~
Behind the castle, there was a draw-bridge that was old, wobbly, tilted to one side, scary, and awesome!
A lady in distress...
The castle even came with a horse!! :)

Even princesses have to have fun! ;)

A Smile for Tyler...

Many of you know by now that we've been asking special prayer for a (17 year old) friend who had a serious head injury accident three weeks ago. Well, we went to see him today, but he's been pretty down and out, and his mom said that he hadn't smiled in a few days. :(
Tyler is an Ole Miss fan. We personally are Mississippi State fans. And we always have the usual friendly competition of whose team is better etc. Well who else should we meet walking through the halls of the hospital than Coach Hugh Freeze and the entire Ole Miss football team themselves!! (They were at the Children's section visiting some patients.) Daddy spoke to Coach Freeze and then we watched some of the players pile into an elevator. Right before the doors closed, I let out a loud "WOOF WOOF! GO DAWGS!"  and enjoyed the looks of disbelief on their faces. (One guy couldn't help himself and burst out laughing.) Then on another elevator ride, we saw the doors open and the whole defensive line was about to come on. Just as fair warning, Daddy said "This elevator is full of bulldogs..." They all stopped and stared for one hideous moment until their "guide lady" said "Cmon guys, cmon". After riding in an elevator crammed with Ole Miss players, I turned to Daddy and said "Boy, have we got something to tell Tyler!" So we went to his room and talked to him for a minute. Then Daddy said "We just met the whole Ole Miss football team and do you know what Sarah did the whole time??" (Loud imitations of my lively team spirit interjected here). And you know what? Tyler smiled. :)

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Being as we only get snow MAYBE once a year, we tend to thoroughly enjoy ourselves when it does come. As you can tell... :)
Here, folks, we have the newest Olympic Redneck Bobsledding Team all the way from Mississippi!  (Yes, that's a boat.) And yes, we rode it all the way down the hill. Since it wouldn't budge with the normal "gimme a push", we all got out & pushed and jumped back in. Just like real bobsledders! haha

We actually convinced the mothers to ride down the hill in the sled! (which in all reality is a duck decoy hauler thingy for dragging behind a boat.) But hey! We found it on the side of the interstate & it makes for an AWESOME sled! :)

 Rednecking at it's finest...
Ella Beth :)
Lydia constructing a snowball.
ACTION SHOT!!  I (Sarah) am about to get WHOPPED by a snowball (that felt more like a baseball) right in the back of the head! Little observant me. :) Good shot, Dylan... Good shot.

How many Archies and Lairds does it take to build a pathetic looking snowman?! ;)
BJ and his "ice cream"
The snow was melting. And we were getting cold and hungry. So we decided to come inside and play Apples to Apples. (And BJ napped on the couch) :)
This is what your front door area looks like when 11 children come inside after romping through the snow... :)
